My name is Lekeythia Skelton, and I am excited to join the Tiger family this year! I am a Moore County resident, mom, and wife. I am transitioning back to the elementary setting from serving as an assistant principal at a middle school.
I have been a practicing educator for ten years. I have served in Moore County since 2016, first as an elementary teacher and currently as an administrator. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education with concentrations in Early Childhood Development, K-5 General Studies, and 6-8 Math and Social Studies from Mississippi State University. In 2022 I earned my Master of School Administration Degree from Campbell University.
The elementary school years are particularly close to my heart as an educator and parent. I know first-hand how amazing it is to watch children grow a love of learning and develop their natural curiosity. I am passionate about providing students with unique experiences and access to high-quality education. I am humbled and honored to serve as your new assistant principal, and I will remain committed to serving our school and community with excellence.
I look forward to getting to know and collaborate with our students, staff, and community. This is going to be a wonderful year!
