 Mr. Stanley

My name is Austin Stanley and I am the Lead PreK Teacher at Aberdeen Elementary. This is my fourth year teaching and I absolutely love it. Growing up I never thought I would be in the position I am now, but in college I worked as camp counselor and I realized working with children is my calling. Being able to be a positive male role model for my students is something I take great pride in. I truly believe that creating an inclusive classroom environment where each child knows they are safe and secure at their "school home" is one of the main points of being an educator. It is crucial to build those foundations and relationships in the primary years of a child's education.Working with this age group is simply amazing, from all the "ah-ha" moments to the learning and creativity that my students get to express on a daily basis. It is always a great day in PreK!
