Fourth Grade
Mrs. Binkley
My name is Christy Binkley, and I'm excited to be a new member of the 4th grade team at Aberdeen Elementary. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Austin Pey State University. Teaching in 4 states within the last six years has provided me many beneficial experiences, making my background as an educator unique. My purpose as an educator is to foster an environment that encourages students to explore their passions and strengths while providing opportunities to build skills that will assist them on their path to success.
Miss John
My name is Mary John and I'm excited to be joining the 4th grade teaching team. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Human Development and my graduate degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. As an educator, my main goal is helping students find what they enjoy, who they want to be, and the tools within themselves to help them get there. Here at Aberdeen Elementary, I hope to help kids overcome one of the most difficult moments in our history and come out on the other side more compassionate, socially responsible and prepared to create the lives they desire.
Mrs. Buffaloe
My name is Stephanie Buffaloe and I love being part of the 4th grade team. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I became an educator to help affect change in the world by showing students that they can do more than they think they can. I love seeing the "lightbulbs" of understanding go off with students, especially as we explore math concepts together.
